New Jewelry Boxes!
When I ship out my jewelry, I don't like to just throw my stuff in a ziplock bag and call it a day.
All my jewelry comes in decorative boxes, which are usually bigger than necessary for the piece being shipped. That means there's plenty of room for your other jewelry!
I will also start shipping my orders out with candy. I have to decide what's the best candy to add in the packages. It has to be small and preferably individually wrapped. Any ideas?
Anyways here are some new boxes I picked up today!
My Target Market - Teenagers
When I started making jewelry, I didn't have a specific market in mind. I didn't plan to appeal to a certain demographic, I just went for it. I usually just make whatever I feel like that day...which lately has involved, by and large, sprinkles, mustaches, candy, neon, and rainbows.
I'd like to mention, that I am 25 years old. So okay, perhaps my tastes are a little...youthful...but plenty of adults love neon and sprinkles! I thought.
So anyway, I figured other individuals of my age would be my market. However, if my tumblr is anything to go by, the people who love my jewelry also love One Direction and the Hunger Games. That's right. Teenagers.
And as far as I can tell, it's pretty much exclusively teenagers. It's been a while since I was a teenager. Well, it hasn't been that long, but it's been long enough for me to have no idea what One Direction is.
I have decided that I am going to embrace the teens, with their disposable incomes and love of rainbows.
Teens - these nails are for you!
Am I doing this right???
Has anyone else found an unexpected market for your blog or products?

New Mustaches!
I got my new mustache mold in the mail a few days ago, and I made these lovely mustaches two nights ago. I made 8 in total but the others have not dried yet...! They're supposed to be dry in 24 hours, but I might have used too much glass paint in those. Oh well.
These are the mustaches that starred in the photos in this post. Click to see more photos in my shop!
Ugh Cats!
I had to take pics indoors today because of the rain. I normally take pics outdoors on my patio, as photos look so much better with full natural light.
I also take photos outdoors because... my cats are curious creatures. They always want to know what I'm doing, and express this by pawing at anything I am looking at. My littlest one, Professor Bill Butterscotch ("Lil Bill"), especially loves to shove items off of heights. Usually, this just means in the morning every item in my bathroom is in my sink, including hair brushes, toothpaste, and soap. Today, it meant that half the time I was taking photos, I was fighting off cats and picking my mustaches off of the floor. Sigh!
